What you can expect from us:

In research projects with partners from industry, research and the public sector, you will work with different aspects of hardware security for embedded systems. On the basis of systematic security analyses, you will develop tailored security concepts for embedded systems. The work in this context is broad, ranging from practical work on electronics in our excellently-equipped laboratory (side-channel and laser attacks) to more theoretical work on security concepts. In addition, you’ll work with the application of IT security and cryptographic algorithms in embedded systems, also on the basis of dedicated security chips from leading manufacturers. This position offers the possibility to do scientific work, to publish your results in scientific publications, and to attend international conferences.

We offer a challenging job in a young and creative work environment of a research institute as well as a wealth of possibilities for personal and professional development at one of the most popular employers in Germany. For those that meet the qualifications and who have interest, we also support further education at the PhD Level.
