Bavarian International Conference on AI

Artificial Intelligence is increasingly shaping our daily lives. From digital assistants on cell phones to complex systems in mobility or industrial production - it is impossible to imagine life without this key technology.

At AI.BAY 2023 - the Bavarian International Conference on AI – experts and people from the AI community have the opportunity to experience the latest scientific trends of AI first hand, to discuss and to put the developments into perspective as well as to broaden their network.

In the Experience Center at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Fraunhofer AISEC’s AI researchers present their latest findings on AI security and manipulation of AI systems and invite you to discuss new trends and applications in greater depth.

Our Audio Deepfake Demonstrator shows how easily a voice can be cloned from a few minutes of voice recording. In our interactive quiz »Can you spot the audio deepfake?« you can challenge yourself to identify fake audios more reliably than a deepfake detection AI.

In another example of Physical Adversarial Examples (i.e. deliberate attempts to trick an AI system into making mistakes by using manipulated content), our researchers present the SmartIO project - AI Security for Smart Intersections. Tampered images may cause an AI system in an autonomous car, for example, to misidentify a stop sign. Our technology detects such attacks early onto ensure the safety of all road users.

AI.BAY 2023 will take place as a hybrid conference on February 23 and 24, 2023, at the Deutsches Museum in Munich (Germany).
