By plane 

By suburban train rail S8 and bus 230 to Garching, Forschungszentrum: 

At Munich Airport, head for the suburban train rail (S-Bahn). Take the train line S8 in the direction of Herrsching and get off at the stop Ismaning. There you change to bus 230 in the direction of Garching, Forschungszentrum. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop Garching, Forschungszentrum. Walk up Bolzmannstraße in the direction of Lichtenbergstraße and turn left into Lichtenbergstraße. After a 3-minute walk, you will arrive at Fraunhofer AISEC on the left-hand side.

By suburban train rail S1 and bus 690 to Garching, Forschungszentrum: 

At Munich Airport, head for the suburban train rail (S-Bahn). Take the train line S1 in the direction of Leuchtenbergring and get off at the stop Neufarn. There you change to bus 690 in the direction of Garching, Forschungszentrum. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop Garching, Forschungszentrum. Walk up Bolzmannstraße in the direction of Lichtenbergstraße and turn left into Lichtenbergstraße. After a 3-minute walk, you will arrive at Fraunhofer AISEC on the left-hand side.

By train

PLEASE NOTE: The City-Ticket, which Bahncard customers get is ONLY valid TO Fröttmaning. For the last three stations you also need a ticket for 2 zones. You can get this directly at the main station.

From the main station, take the U4 or U5 to Odeonsplatz or the S-Bahn to Marienplatz. Then take the U6 in the direction of Garching-Forschungszentrum, stop Garching-Forschungszentrum (terminus, travel time approx. 35 min.).

Leave the underground station "Garching Forschungszentrum" in the direction of travel, exit Lichtenbergstraße. After the staircase, turn left towards the main entrance of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Walk past this building on the right until you reach Lichtenbergstraße. Follow Lichtenbergstraße to house number 6. The new Fraunhofer AISEC building is on the opposite side.

By car

On the motorway A9 Munich-Nuremberg take the exit "Garching-Nord" in the direction of "Forschungsinstitute". At the first traffic light turn left towards "Freising", at the next traffic light turn right into Lichtenbergstraße. After approx. 70 m you will find the institute on the right hand side.

Parking place

Around the building there are enough parking spaces for visitors of Fraunhofer AISEC.

By train

Take the S7 train in the direction of Potsdam Hauptbahnhof from the central station to the Berlin Zoologischer Garten stop and change to Bus 249 in the direction of Grunewald, Roseneck there. Get off the bus at the stop Kirchstraße. From there, it is a 70m walk to your destination Breite Straße 12. 

By car

On the A100 freeway, take exit 14 towards Schmargendorf and proceed towards the Steglitz turnoff. Use the right lane to take the exit onto Mecklenburgische Straße. Follow Mecklenburgische Straße and make a right turn after 900m into Breite Straße. The destination Breite Straße 12 is 600m further on the right-hand side.  

By plane

From the airport Berlin BER, take the train FEX in the direction of S+U Berlin Hauptbahnhof (deep) and get off at Ostkreuz Bhf (Berlin). From there, take the S41 towards Ringbahn and get off at Heidelberger Platz (Berlin). Then use bus 249 towards Grunewald, Roseneck and get off at Kirchstraße. From there, it is a 20 m walk to your destination at Breite Straße 12.

By train 

From the train station, take city bus 1 in the direction of Ulmenweg to the ZOB. There, change to city bus 4 in the direction of Pirk, Rathaus. Get off the bus at the stop OTH/FOS. The bus stop is about 50 m walking distance to Hermann-Brenner-Platz 1. 

By car

Coming from the A93 in the direction of Hof, leave the freeway at exit 25-Weiden-Süd in the direction of Weiden/Rothenstadt and turn right after the freeway exit. After 3 km, turn left into Hetzenrichter Weg. The destination is about 20 m down the road on the right-hand side.  

Coming from the A93 in the direction of Regensburg/Prag/Praha, leave the freeway at exit 21b-Altenstadt an der Waldnaab and take the B22 in the direction of Altenstadt. Follow B22 for 7km, take the exit towards Vohenstrauß/Weiden-Ost and turn left onto Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. Take the second exit at the rotary to Leuchtenberger Str. and turn right after 600m into Hetzenrichter Weg. After 350m you will find Hermann-Brenner-Platz 1 on the right-hand side. 

By plane 

From Nuremberg Airport, take the U2 to the central station. At Nuremberg central station take the hourly regional train to Weiden. From the train station in Weiden, take the city bus 1 in the direction of Ulmenweg to the ZOB. There, change to city bus 4 in the direction of Pirk, Rathaus. Get off the bus at the stop OTH/FOS. From there it is a 50m walk to your destination at Hermann-Brenner-Platz 1.

By train

From Pioneer MRT, take the free NTU Campus Rider to the last stop at the Tan Chin Tuan Lecture Theatre. From there, walk straight into Carpark A and take the lift NS 1-1 to level 5.

By car

Fraunhofer Singapore is located within university grounds opposite the NTU Admin Building. For drivers, your landmark point would be NTU Carpark A. Head straight into or park at Carpark A. Locate block NS1-1 lift lobby (beside the Civil and environmental Engineering entrance) and take the lift to level 5.

By plane

From Shanghai-Pudong International airport take the East West Line towards the last stop Tanah Merah and exit the train there. Take the East West Line in the direction of Tuas Link to the Pioneer stop. Use Pioneer Stn Exit A to change to bus 179 in direction of Boon Lay and get off at Hall 2 stop. From there, it is a 900m walk to your destination at 50 Nanyang Avenue Block NS1-1, where you take the elevator to level 5.
