TISAX® (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange)

There are defined standards in the automotive industry for the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information. The ENX Association supports with TISAX® on behalf of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der Automobilindustrie, VDA) the common acceptance of Information Security Assessments in the automotive industry. 

Fraunhofer AISEC follows the question catalogue of information security of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA ISA) and, in accordance with Assessment Level 3, it has taken extensive measures on protection of information with very high protection requirements, of prototype components, parts and vehicles and images of objects that require protection.

Fraunhofer AISEC is certified according to Common Criteria EAL 7.

Common Criteria

Common Criteria (CC) is an international IT security standard for trustworthy software and hardware. Since 2024, Fraunhofer AISEC has been one of a few test laboratories officially certified to perform evaluations of hardware and software based on the Common Criteria standard.

Fraunhofer AISEC has completed the Common Criteria Site Certification for the Evaluation Assurance Level 7 (EAL 7). The certification confirms that the test laboratory and infrastructure meet all the requirements of the ISO/IEC 15408-1 :2009, -2 :2008, -3 :2008 and Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (CC) standards.

DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

Since 2018, Fraunhofer AISEC has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, the international quality management standard. For partners and customers at home and abroad, we thus prove our performance, efficiency, and service orientation.

We ensure sustainability in the quality assurance of our services by means of the certified quality management system. We are constantly working on the efficiency of our processes, on minimizing risks and on the consistently high-quality standard of our products.

The high standard of our approach to quality management is attested by the very good results of the certification by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH. A no less important indicator is the trust of our partners and customers, which is often evident in long-standing working relationships.
