Where Research Meets Industry – Fraunhofer AISEC’s 3rd Cybersecurity Day on 23 October 2025 in Garching near Munich

Cyberattacks pose an ever-growing threat to businesses. According to a 2024 Bitkom study (in German), 80% of companies report a surge in digital attacks — and the trend keeps climbing. Today, two-thirds (65%) of businesses see their very existence at risk from cyberattacks — up from 52% last year and just 9% in 2021. This highlights once again that cybersecurity has become a decisive success factor for companies of all sizes and sectors.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied and Integrated Security (AISEC) develops cutting-edge methods, tools, and solutions to counter these threats and strengthen resilience against future risks. Our research is closely aligned with the practical needs of industry, business, and public institutions.

Join us for our third Cybersecurity Day to stay ahead with state-of-the-art technology.

Explore the latest cybersecurity research, experience our high-security labs first hand, and discover the essential cybersecurity solutions your organisation needs to thrive in the digital age.

This year's focus: Security and Vulnerability Analysis, Industrial Security, Security Compliance, Trustworthy Hardware, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Trustworthy AI, and Digital Identities.
